The UHB corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant mortar pump transfers liquids that contain both corrosive chemicals and solid particles. Its metal outer shell provides strength, while the thick UHMWPE lining protects the wetted parts. Therefore, the pump is well suited to demanding slurry transfer duties.
This product is also called a UHB-ZK slurry pump or UHMWPE-lined chemical pump. Unlike a construction mortar pump, it is designed for chemical slurry, acid mixtures, industrial wastewater, and mineral pulp.
As a UHB pump manufacturer, we match each pump to the liquid, solid content, particle size, flow, and head. In addition, we offer different seals, impellers, motors, and material options for each project.

These values describe the general series. However, slurry density, particle size, viscosity, and concentration affect actual performance. Therefore, the final motor power and pump size must follow the real working conditions.

UHMWPE-Lined Pump Structure
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, or UHMWPE, provides resistance to both chemical attack and wear. The white lining visible in the product photos covers the pump’s internal flow path. As a result, the slurry has little direct contact with the metal casing.
The lining is usually 8–20 mm thick. Moreover, the metal outer casing supports the lining and helps the pump handle pipe loads and normal plant conditions.
Main parts include:
- Steel or cast-metal outer casing
- UHMWPE pump lining
- UHMWPE or composite impeller
- Corrosion-resistant shaft sleeve
- Dynamic or mechanical seal
- Bearing housing
- Steel base frame
- Electric motor and coupling guard
Designed for Corrosive Slurry
Many pumps can handle clear acid. However, their wetted parts may wear quickly when the liquid also contains crystals, sand, or mineral particles. The UHB mortar pump addresses both problems with a corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant flow path.
It can handle selected media such as:
- Sulfuric acid slurry
- Hydrochloric acid mixtures
- Dilute nitric acid
- Phosphoric acid slurry
- Caustic soda
- Salt solutions
- Pickling wastewater
- Filter-press feed
- Mineral pulp
- Flue gas desulfurization liquid
- Industrial wastewater
Chemical compatibility still depends on temperature and concentration. Therefore, customers should provide a full liquid analysis before ordering.
Impeller and Seal Options
The impeller can use an open, semi-open, or closed design. An open or semi-open impeller offers a wider passage for slurry containing particles. In contrast, a closed impeller may provide better hydraulic efficiency for cleaner liquids.
Several seal options are available. A dynamic seal uses an auxiliary impeller to reduce pressure around the shaft during operation. Meanwhile, a mechanical seal provides controlled sealing for many continuous duties. Packing seals may also suit selected applications.
The best option depends on slurry concentration, inlet pressure, operating hours, and leakage limits.

Pump Selection Information
Correct selection starts with the real slurry data. First, confirm the required flow and total head. Next, provide the chemical composition, temperature, density, solid concentration, and maximum particle size.
The inquiry should include:
- Liquid and solid names
- Chemical concentration
- Operating temperature
- Slurry density
- Solid content
- Maximum particle size
- Required flow
- Required head
- Suction conditions
- Motor voltage and frequency
- Required seal type
- Daily operating hours
These details help us select the correct pump size and motor. They also reduce the risk of wear, clogging, seal failure, and motor overload.

Manufacturing and Custom Service
We provide model selection, material matching, machining, assembly, and inspection. In addition, we can supply custom flange standards, motor voltages, seal systems, coatings, and base dimensions.
Before shipment, each unit can be checked for rotation, sealing, assembly quality, and basic hydraulic performance. We also provide spare impellers, liners, seals, shafts, and other service parts.
